Events and Announcements


In-Person Worship Resumes March 7 -- with COVID precautions in place.  An updated version of our COVID policy is here:  Updated COVID Policy Feb. 2021.  Please review it, as we will be strictly adhering to it for the safety of all.   Services will continue to be livestreamed on our Facebook page.

Meetings, Groups and Bible Studies --  most activities are being conducted on-line, via Zoom or other method, with some transitioning to in-person gatherings. Please check the church's on-line calendar for events currently scheduled.  (click on the "Dates and Events" picture at left). 

"Per Capita" for 2021 -- The amount is $32.00 per active member.  Please consider making a contribution for this amount and note this on your envelope or check.  This money is shared with the Presbyterian Church USA, to further our mission with other churches in this denomination around the world.

Lenten Study

Lenten Study — The theme is Lament, using the book “Wild Hope: Stories of Lent from the Vanishing”, by Gayle Boss. A study group will meet on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom, starting 2/22 (the same meeting time as the Seekers group) if you would like to join!  The book is also available for those who are not in the Lenten study group, if you would like to read it on your own.  It may be ordered from Amazon for $14.99.  Contact Wanda Moon for any questions and the meeting link:  wanda_moon@me.com

Agape Women's Study

“40 Days of Prayer”  by Rick Warren; will meet via Zoom, every other Friday, at 9:30 am, from February 12 through May 7.  The set-up for this study is to watch the videos on YouTube, answer some discovery questions on your own (in the Workbook), then meet with the group every other week. The homework is minimal and you will have 14 days to cover the 7 days of lessons.  Order your copy now, online, and have it shipped to your door! Virtual Game Night!

On FRIDAY, March 5 from 7– 8 pm on ZOOM. Pastor Jackie will be hosting  a thrilling Night of BINGO!  The meeting link will be provided in the weekly email blast and here on the website. One card/person. Use a card from home or create one yourself. Blank cards can be downloaded from the weekly email and the website (click on picture at left). You’ll also need 24 markers. Youth Group Meetings

Youth groups are meeting in the building when possible, or via Zoom.  Contact the group leader to confirm each week's plan.

Our Middle School youth are meeting on Sunday nights at 5:30 p.m.   Leader:  Sarah French

High School youth (APEX) are meeting on Sunday nights at 6:30 p.m.   Leader:  Emily Hamilton

Certain Sundays may have a special event at a different time, or the group may not meet for a particular week. Check the church calendar or your group leader to confirm!  We encourage and look forward to your participation, and bring a friend!

We are looking for volunteers for the Welcome Desk starting on Sunday, March 7th. Sign-Up Genius is being used to provide a safe and contact less method to sign-up. Please click on the link below (or copy it and paste in your browser) and find a date(s) that works for you.

We are LIVE Streaming our worship service.  Please log on Facebook Sundays at 9:30am

How to View a video on Facebook:

On your computer browser search bar, type:  http://facebook.com/FPCNorthville to go to the church’s Facebook page.  To watch a live stream video (at 9:30am Sundays), scroll down past Photos, to Posts and click on the red “Live” button (make sure to unmute the sound on the video’s window, then also adjust your computer’s volume).  Videos will also be available to watch after the event is over; find Videos in the menu on the left side of the home page.

​Tip:  while you are watching a video, periodically Facebook will show a pop-up window asking you to log in, or to create a new account – Just click “Not Now”  or the X and it will go away.


The yoga class at FPCN will continue as an online class for the winter of 2021, Thursdays at 6:15 p.m.  Hopefully we will be able to return to the Christian Life Center (gym) for in-person classes in the spring.


The schedule is as follows:

Winter 2021 Session 1 - January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11

Winter 2021 Session 2 - February 18, 25, March 4, 11, 18, 25


The cost is $60 for each 6 week session.  Drop in rate is $15.

Northville Civic Concern

We appreciate all of your support!  Needs at this time: Paper Towels; Boxes of Tissues; Small Size Laundry Detergent.   Thank you!


· We are at 43275 W. 7 Mile Rd, (next to Hal’s Auto Care) Drive up, place your non-perishable food donations on the carts outside during regular Civic Concern hours, M W F 10:00 - 1:00, please. Our volunteers will take it from there!

· Donations cannot be left outside at off hours.   

· Civic Concern cannot take clothing, furniture, household items, etc.

Meijer Simply Give 

The campaign runs from February 14 through April 10.  Double Match Dates are Sat. 3/13 and Sat. 4/3. Purchase a $10 donation card at the Meijer at 8 Mile & Haggerty Rds, and Northville Civic Concern receives the funds!  Meijer will match contributions for every card purchased, and double match on the specified dates.  Thank you!
