Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Collection
The Mission Committee will be collecting fresh fruits and vegetables this summer for Civic Concern, on Sundays before their distribution dates. Most of the year, clients only receive canned goods, so fresh items are greatly appreciated, and healthier, too! We will provide a grocery cart in the narthex for your donations—(please bring only on the dates indicated, and not before)
Sunday Collection Dates:
July 18, August 8, August 22
All Church Picnic
Save the Date! Our annual picnic is back -- after worship on Sunday, September 12 in Waterford Bend Park. Join us for food, games and fun, and bring a lawn chair! This day is also the 'kick-off" for Sunday School. More details and information for those who can help with set-up will be posted as we get closer to the date.
Worship Service on Facebook
We are LIVE Streaming our worship service. Please log on Facebook Sundays at 9:30am
How to View a video on Facebook: (you don’t need to have a Facebook account)

Videos will also be available to watch after the event is over; find Videos in the menu on the left side of the home page.
Tip: while you are watching a video, periodically Facebook will show a pop-up window asking you to log in, or to create a new account – Just click “Not Now” or the X and it will go away.

For every meal you and your family members enjoyed in the last month, please donate 5 cents to help with food insecurity needs in our community. Please fill a brown "grocery bag" envelope each month and drop it in the offering plate, or donate anytime on-line on our "Give and Serve" page.
Little Dresses for Africa
You can help in this mission by picking up a kit in Boll Hall, completing it and returning the dress to the church. The kit has all the supplies needed, full instructions and requires only basic sewing skills. Little Dresses for Africa is a non-profit Christian organization whose mission is to provide relief by distributing dresses to little girls, primarily in African villages, but also to other countries in crisis.
