Rev. Jacqueline Spycher
Senior Pastor

Rev. Spycher joined us in the fall of 2020 as our senior pastor, and views her role as pastor to faithfully walk beside those in her care, as God calls us to an ever unfolding journey of personal spiritual growth and transformation, rooted in a community of faith. Rev. Spycher holds a Master of Divinity from Yale University (with a certificate in Reformed Studies)
Jenn Zibbell
Children & Youth Director, Mission Coordinator

Jenn oversees the Sunday school programs, youth groups, Vacation Bible School, and other events to connect children and their families in the life of FPC Northville! Please contact her if you are able to volunteer in any of these programs. As Mission Coordinator, Jenn will develop new initiatives to put our faith into action and extend FPC into the community.
Lisa Higley
Preschool Director
In addition to teaching the Young Fives class, Lisa is also the Director of Northville Presbyterian Preschool. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Development from Madonna University and has been in the early childhood field for over 15 years.
Cynthia Korpela
Assistant Preschool Director/Teacher

Cindy has a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development from Central Michigan University and has been teaching preschool children since 1983. She has lived in Livonia since 1985 and has two daughters. She also includes in her family an adorable orange tabby cat named Baxter! Cindy has been on staff since 2005.
Jerry Custer
Vocal Music Director
Dr Jerry Custer is a graduate of Westminster Choir College (Princeton, NJ) and earned his doctorate in choral conducting at Michigan State University. He presently teaches music theory, composition, and choral literature at Wayne State University in Detroit, and is a frequent workshop leader and choral clinician across the country and overseas. Dr Jerry is a Grammy-nominated composer with three books and over 150 choral works in print. He lives in Allen Park with his fiancee Sharon, and in his spare time enjoys playing on the air as an amateur radio operator (N8DXZ)
David Wagner
Organist/Accompanist
“Dr. Dave” is a nationally known radio host for classical music stations, and he currently hosts the morning and afternoon shows for WRCJ in Detroit. Dave holds a Doctorate from the University of Michigan and has extensive experience as a solo and ensemble performer. He has performed locally with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as well as venues throughout the United States and abroad.
Kelly Sartorius
Church Administrator

Kelly works in the church office from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday. She is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the office, buildings, and grounds. She also oversees the office staff and volunteers, as well as coordinates weddings, funerals, and the church calendar.

Stephen Flavin
Director of Congregational Care

In this role, Stephen will work with the Deacons to extend support and care to the congregation's needs during times of challenge and joy in their lives. He has over 15 years serving in ministry, including community development, combating human trafficking, and mentoring and assisting vulnerable populations.
Kelly Clarke
Accounting Clerk
Kelly is here three days a week from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. She is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for the church. A few of Kelly's responsibilities include recording contributions, accounts payable, and providing the monthly financial reports to the Session.
Judy Phillips
Office Assistant/Communications Associate

Judy is responsible for producing content for the Sunday bulletin, the church website, the weekly congregation e-mails, social media and internal promotions. She also provides reception in the office and on the phone.
Nancy Plumley
Te Deum Handbell Choir Director

Nancy started with us in 2018, bringing her extensive experience as a music director, directing both adults and children. She is a member of the Detroit Handbell Choir. Nancy extends an invitation to anyone who would like to learn to ring handbells! No experience necessary - try the handbell choir!
Daryl Bean
Audiovisual Technology Associate
Daryl brings his extensive background in audio technology and setting up live music performances to his role at FPCN. He is responsible for the audio equipment and set up for services, as well as recording and livestreaming our worship service for on-line viewing.
